Ascend Restoration Solutions was founded by Mike Thurston in 2017 to raise the bar for roofing and exterior work across Colorado’s high country. After nearly a decade managing complex restoration projects statewide—from Denver and the Springs to the mountain communities he calls home—Mike built a company centered on expertise, communication, and trust.
Today Ascend is more than a roofing contractor. We’re a full-service exterior restoration partner serving Summit, Eagle, Lake, Chaffee, Park, and Routt counties. Our projects range from custom luxury homes to HOA developments and commercial buildings—all installed to handle altitude, snow load, and high winds.
We take a premium-over-volume approach. Every job includes transparent communication, documented quality checks, and a spotless cleanup verified by The Catchall system and magnetic sweepers. Mike Thurston founded Ascend Restoration Solutions to give mountain homeowners something rare: Genuine craftsmanship, transparent communication, and clean, organized job sites.
With ICC and IRC certifications, he personally manages every project from estimate to final walkthrough, ensuring quality, timelines, and budgets stay on track.
When he’s not on site, Mike’s in the mountains snowmobiling (he guides in Leadville), riding, hiking, or exploring new backcountry lines. His love for the outdoors fuels his pride in protecting the homes that share the same rugged environment.
